A study debt may be taken into account if you have extra repaid and provided that the rules have not changed in the past 2 years, with the current debt burden instead of the 0.75% from the standard calculation! With the current low interest rates, that makes a huge difference! Pay off a reasonable extra amount on the student loan, and you can get a lot more mortgage.
